(Filipino Translation of Aya Markazan Nuri Fiikal Ikha)

Here is the original Arabic lyrics (as far as I know)...

Leadership and Islam

Principles of Success According to the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)
Effective Leadership principles of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)
Author: Muhammad W. Khan

It is a well-known fact that the Prophet of Islam (saw) was the supremely successful man in the entire human history. But he was not just a hero, as Thomas Carlyle has called him. According to the Qur’an, he was the best example for all mankind. He has shown us the way of achieving supreme success in this world. By studying the life of the Prophet (saw), we can derive those important principles which were followed by the Prophet (S.A.W.). Indeed, the Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.) was a positive thinker in the full sense of the word. All his activities were result-oriented. He completely refrained from all such steps as may prove counter-productive.

First Principle: To begin from the possible.
This principle is well explained in a saying of Aishah. She said: “Whenever the Prophet had to choose between two options, he always opted for the easier choice.” (Al-Bukhari) To choose the easiest option means to begin from the possible, and one who begins from the possible will surely reach his goal.

Second Principle: To see advantage in disadvantage.
In the early days of Mecca, there were many problems and difficulties. At that time, a guiding verse in the Qur’an was revealed. It said: “With every hardship there is ease, with every hardship there is ease.” (94:5-6).
This means that if there are some problems, there are also opportunities at the same time. And the way to success is to ignore the problems and avail the opportunities.

Third Principle: To change the place of action.
This principle is derived from the Hijrah. Hijrah was not just a migration from Mecca to Medina. It was to find a more suitable place for Islamic work, as history proved later on.

Fourth Principle: To make a friend out of an enemy.
The Prophet (S.A.W.) of Islam was repeatedly subjected to practices of antagonism by the unbelievers. At that time the Qur’an enjoined upon him the return of good for evil. And then, as the Qur’an added, “You will see your direst enemy has become your closest friend” (41:34). It means that a good deed in return of a bad deed has a conquering effect over your enemies. And the life of the Prophet(saw) is a historical proof of this principle.

Fifth Principle: To turn minus into plus.
After the Battle of Badr, about 70 of the unbelievers were taken as the prisoners of war. They were educated people. The Prophet (S.A.W.) announced that if any one of them would teach ten Muslim children how to read and write he would be freed. This was the first school in the history of Islam in which all of the students were Muslims, and all of the teachers were from the enemy rank. Here I shall quote a British orientalist who remarked about the Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.): He faced adversity with the determination to writing success out of failure.

Sixth Principle: The power of peace is stronger than the power of violence.
When Mecca was conquered, all of the Prophet’s (S.A.W.) direst opponents were brought before him. They were war criminals, in every sense of the word. But the Prophet (saw) did not order to kill them. He simply said: “Go, you are free.” The result of this kind behavior was miraculous. They immediately accepted Islam.

Seventh Principle: Not to be a dichotomous thinker.
In the famous Ghazwa of Muta, Khalid bin Walid decided to withdraw Muslim forces from the battlefield because he discovered that the enemy was unproportionately outnumbered. When they reached Medina, some of the Muslims received them by the word “O Furrar (O deserters!)” The Prophet (S.A.W.) said “No. They are Kurrar
(men of advancement).” Those Medinan people were thinking dichotomously, either fighting or retreating. The Prophet (S.A.W.) said no. There is also a third option, and that is to avoid war and find a time to strengthen yourself. Now history tells us that the Muslims, after three years of preparation, advanced again towards the Roman border and this time they won a resounding victory.

Eighth Principle: To bring the battle in one’s own favorable field.
This principle is derived from the Ghazwa of Hudaibiyya. At that time, the unbelievers were determined to engage Muslims in fighting, because obviously they were in an advantageous position. But the Prophet (S.A.W.), by accepting their conditions unilaterally, entered into a pact. It was a ten-year peace treaty. Until then, the meeting ground between Muslims and non- Muslims had been on the battlefield. Now the area of conflict became that of ideological debate. Within two years, Islam emerged as victorious because of the simple reason of its ideological superiority.

Ninth Principle: Gradualism instead of radicalism.
This principle is well-established by a hadith of Al-Bukhari. Aishah says that the first verses of the Qur’an were related mostly to heaven and hell. And then after a long time when the people’s hearts had softened, the specific commands to desist from adultery and drinking were revealed in the Qur’an. This is a clear proof that for social changes, Islam advocates the evolutionary method, rather than the revolutionary method.

Tenth Principle: To be pragmatic in controversial matters.
During the writing of Hudaibiyyah treaty, the Prophet (S.A.W.) dictated these words: “This is from Muhammad, the Messenger of God.” The Qurayshi delegate raised objections over these words. The Prophet (S.A.W.) promptly changed the word and ordered to write simply Muhammad, son of Abdullah.

These were the principles through which the Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.) gained that success which has been recognized by historians as the true success.

Sabin g Rasulullah S.A.W.:

Sabi ng Propeta Muhammad S.A.W.:

1. Madalas na paghingi ng kapatawaran sa Allah.
Sabi ng Allah sa Banal na Qur-an:

6. Paggastos para sa daan tungo sa Allah.
Sabi ng Allah sa Banal na Qur-an:

Do Muslims Believe in Jesus and Mary? (ni: Khan Sharief)

The similitude of Jesus before God is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. {Holy Quran 3:59}
And behold! God will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of God'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden. {Holy Qur'an 5:116}

It is not befitting to (the majesty of) God that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is. {Holy Quran 19:35}

No Muslim is a Muslim if he/she doesn't believe in Jesus (PBUH).

Jesus in the Holy Quran holds one of the highest statures amongst the Prophets. Unlike other Prophets who performed miracles, Jesus himself was a miracle, as he was born of a virgin mother, and God describes him and his mother Mary as such:
“…and We made her (Mary) and her son (Jesus) a sign for the worlds.” (Quran 21:91)
Nonetheless, in the Quran, Jesus is described as having many miracles not bestowed upon other prophets. God says:
“And We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear miracles” (Quran 2:87)
-----

The following is a brief description of the miracles performed by Jesus mentioned in the Quran:

1. In the fifth chapter of the Quran, “The Table Laden with Food” – named after this miracle of Jesus, God narrates how the disciples of Jesus requested him to ask God to send down a table laden with food, and for it to be a special day of commemoration for them in the future.
2. One of the miracles mentioned in the Quran, although not mentioned in the Bible, is that fact that Jesus, while still in the cradle, spoke out to protect his mother Mary.
3. God mentions a miracle given to none other in the Quran but Jesus, one which is quite parallel to how God himself created Adam. This miracle was one which none can argue its greatness. God mentions in the Quran that Jesus says: “I create for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird with God’s permission.” (Quran 3:49) This miracle is not found in the New Testament, but it is found in the non-canonical ‘Infancy Gospel of Thomas’. “When this boy, Jesus, was five years old, he was playing at the ford of a rushing stream… he then made soft clay and shaped it into twelve sparrows… but Jesus simply clapped his hands and shouted to the sparrows: “Be off, fly away, and remember me, you who are now alive!” And the sparrows took off and flew away noisily.” (Infancy Gospel of Thomas:2).
4. Similar to the New Testament, The Quran also mentions Jesus to a have healed the blind and lepers. “I also heal the blind and the leper.” (Quran 3:49).
5. The Resurrection of the Dead “…and I bring to life the dead, by the permission of God.” (Quran 3:49).
6. Jesus was given the miracle of knowing what people had just eaten, as well as what they had in store for the coming days. God says. “I inform you too of what things you eat, and what you store up in your houses. Surely in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.” (Quran 3:49).
7. A Demonstration of Truth - Similar to other prophets, Jesus performed miracles to convince skeptics of his truthfulness, not to demonstrate his divinity. The Quran says: “Surely in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.” (Quran 3:49). These miracles were performed only by the Will of God, had he not willed them to occur, they could never come to be. God explicitly states this in the Quran, saying that they were: “…by the permission of God” (Quran 3:49; 5:10).

SATAN'S MEETING "Read even if you're busy" (ni: Akh Aljohn Aaron)

Satan's works:
"We can't keep Muslims from going to Mosque."
"We can't keep them from reading their Quran and knowing the truth."
"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Allah and his messenger Muhammad."
"Once they gain that connection with Allah, our power over them is broken."
"So let them go to their Mosques; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Allah and his messenger Muhammad."
"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:
"Distract them from gaining hold of their Allah and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"
"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.
"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.
"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."
"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."
"Keep them from spending time with their children."
"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"
"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."
"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive." "To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays music constantly."
"This will jam their minds and break that union with Allah and his messenger Muhammad."
"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."
"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."
"Invade their driving moments with billboards."
"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."
"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "
"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."
Give them headaches too!
"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."
"That will fragment their families quickly!"
"Give them story books to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Salat."
"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on Allah's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead. "Keep them busy, busy, busy!"
"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences. "
"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Allah."
"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."
"It will work!" "It will work!"
It was quite a plan!
The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Muslims everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.
Having little time for their Allah or their families.
Having no time to tell others about the power of Allah and his messenger Muhammad to change lives.
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?
You be the judge!!!!!
Does "BUSY" mean:
B-eing
U-nder
S-atan's
Y-oke?
Please pass this on, if you aren't too BUSY!

7 Pointers to Lift a Bad Mood (ni: Akh Ali Sarangani)

Note from the webmaster: Ang article na ito ay isinend sa akin ni Ali at dito niya nakuha.

No one can live a long and healthy life without the will to go on; sometimes mood swings can make us feel that life is too much for us.
A bad mood not only gives you a gloomy outlook, it also lowers your immune function, leading the way to illness. Here are some suggestions to lift your mood, your spirit, and your health.

1. A Laughing Matter. "Laugh Therapy," pioneered by Norman Cousins, has turned out to have real substance. Research has discovered that laughter and joy boost immune functions, especially the production of the natural killer cells that help defend the body from illness and cancer. Laughter also increases the release of endorphins - compounds that give you a sense of well-being - in your brain. Without a doubt, joyful people liver longer and healthier lives. So read your favorite comics, watch your favorite comedies, and laugh it up!

{From the webmaster: But don't laugh too much, it kills the faith in your heart. The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. said: "La tukthirud dahk, fa inna kathratad dahk tumitul qalb." " Do not laugh too much, too much laugh kills the heart (faith)."}

2. Amino Acid for Restored Mindset. When an imbalance or deficiency is creating a bad mood, the Europeans use supplements of a natural compound found in human cells to regulate mood and restore a healthy mindset. SAMe (S-adenosyl-L-methionine) is produced from methionine, an amino acid that plays a role in the production of uplifting neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine.
One study indicated that SAMe worked on patients who had unsuccessful results with conventional antidepressants. To get a boost from SAMe, take a supplement combining it with vitamins B6 and B12.

3. Hands-On Healing. Human touch increases the production of endorphins, growth hormone, and DHEA, all of which lengthen your life span and lower the negative impact of stress. Studies have found that patients who are regularly touched recover faster than those who are not touched. So give someone a hug and feel both of your moods improve.

4. Boost Your "Youth Hormones". You don't need pills to flood your body with a rejuvenating flood of growth hormones. Research has found that doing squats and leg presses will greatly increase your natural production of the "youth hormone". Increased growth hormone translates to an elevated mood, among other physical benefits. Keep it up with weight training, knee bends, push-ups, and rowing.

5. Take a Bracing Breath. Breathing correctly is important for dispelling the toxins and wastes from your body; in fact, it is estimated that we expel only about 30 percent of toxins in our bodies through the bowels and bladder-the rest is all respiratory. Breathing is also a great way to clear your mind, boost your energy, and improve your mood. Practice deep, slow, rhythmic, breathing daily with mind-body disciplines such as tai chi, yoga, qigong, and meditation.

6. Smell the Joy. Research has shown that smell has a definite impact on our bodies and minds. When you stimulate the olfactory nerves inside your nose, you activate the limbic system of your brain, which is associated with moods and memory. This concept is instrumental to aromatherapy, a natural health tradition that makes use of the healing powers of plants with strong scents.
Aromatherapy recommends treating depression with jasmine, eucalyptus for exhilaration, and grapefruit to increase alertness and joy. Just put a dab of the essential oils from these plants on your temples, back of your neck, or acupressure points. Another option? Boil the herb in water and inhale the steam through your nose.

7. Feel Fine with Flowers. There is a reason that flowers are the traditional get-well gesture. Colorful flowers have a powerful influence on moods; they can uplift a patient's mood and even combat stress. One study found that during a five-minute typing assignment, people sitting next to a flowering bouquet were more relaxed than those who sat near foliage-only plants.

Bakit Walang Simbahan sa Saudi Arabia kung Tolerant ang Islam? (ni: Akh Haron Guro)

Wallahu a'lam.

Common Mistakes in Arabic Being Committed by Non-Native Speakers (Part 2)

Blanket: Wrong: Bataniiyah / Correct: Battaaniiyah.
Stories: Wrong: Qisas / Correct: Qasas. Karaniwan ko itong naririning kapag binabanggit ung "Qasasul Anbiya" or Stories of the Prophets. Imbes na "a" after ng "q" ay "i" ang ipinapalit.
10. خطابة/Declamation: Wrong: Khitaabah / Correct: Khataabah.
Huwallahu a'lam.
What is your name?: Wrong: Maa ismuka? / Correct: Masmuka?
13. أبو بكر/Abu Bakr: Wrong: Abu Bakar / Correct: Abu Bakr.
Seal: Wrong: Khaatam / Correct: Khaatim. Ang Arabic ng Seal of the Prophets ay "Khaatimun Nabiyyiin" at hindi "Khaatamun Nabiyyiin".
15. فقه/Jurisprudence: Wrong: Fiqhi / Correct: Fiqh.
Aircon: Wrong: Mukayyaf / Correct: Mukayyif.
17. آل عمران/Aali Imraan: Wrong: Al-Imraan / Correct: Aali Imraan.
Shukran jazilan.

Celebrating Mawlidun Nabi is Haram

Mawlidun Nabi - kapanganakan ng Propeta Muhammad S.A.W.

(Surah Al-Maidah:3)

Amin.

Celebrating Valentine's Day is Unlawful (Haram) in Islam

1. Birthday Celebration.
2. All Saints' Day, Araw ng mga Patay, or pagcecelebrate nito like 3 days, 7 days, 40 days, 100 days, 1 year at iba pang kahawig nito.
3. Christmas Day or Winter Celebration.
4. New Year at kasama na rin dito na haram ang pagcecelebrate ng Aamun Jadid  o Hijrah Calendar New Year.

I LOVE PARADISE. YA ALLAH BLESS US YOUR PARADISE. AMIN.

I HAVE A DREAM

May pansariling pangarap, may pampamilya, pampamayanang pangarap, at siyempre pangsambayanan at pandaigdigan.

1. Gusto kong magkaroon ng International  Islamic University sa Pilipinas. Kaya heto puspusan ako sa pag-aaral at pagtuturo. Kaya heto balak kong magmasteral inshaAllah and then magdoctorate, me and my wife.
Regarding DXN at iba pa Alhamdulillah maganda ung ginagawa nila. Providing halal foods to the Muslim people but the problem is the price. Mahal ung presyo, syempre imported and ung mga taxes at iba na binabayaran nila.
Like sa ibang Islamic countries particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Amin.
Ikaw anong pangarap mo? Share mo naman.
